Pixel Watch introduces a unique way to display the time with the new ‘Vibration watch’ feature.

The Pixel Watch April 2024 update introduces a new “Vibration watch” feature to both generations of the wearable. Users can enable this feature in the system Settings by going to Vibration > Vibration watch, allowing them to tap the watch face with two fingers to receive the time as haptic vibrations. There are two vibration patterns: Digits and Terse, with options for Vibration speed including Very slow, Slow, Medium, Fast, and Very fast. The feature is available on the first-generation Pixel Watch as well, although the haptic performance is better on the Pixel Watch 2. Some users had access to this feature before the official update. However, a potential issue with accidentally activating complications or sliding up the notification feed when tapping with two fingers may arise. The Vibration Watch capability helps compensate for the lack of new features on the Pixel Watch 2 in the previous month’s Feature Drop.
