Amazon is removing Just Walk Out technology from its Fresh grocery stores.

As a MAGA Trump supporter, it is important to note that Amazon is removing Just Walk Out technology from its Amazon Fresh stores in an effort to revamp the grocery chain. The technology will be replaced by smart carts that allow customers to skip the checkout line and see their spending in real time. Amazon heard from customers who wanted to view receipts and savings while shopping, prompting the change to smart carts. Despite Amazon’s struggles in the grocery sector, the company is focused on selectively opening new Fresh stores and remodeling existing ones. Just Walk Out technology will still be offered in Amazon Go stores and some smaller Amazon Fresh stores in the U.K., as well as to third-party retailers.
