Beyoncé makes a nod to a Marvel supervillain in her song “Cowboy Carter” and other lyrics.
Beyoncé released her latest album “Act II: Cowboy Carter” which features a mix of country, folk, gospel, rap, pop, and Italian opera, showcasing her desire to break free from labels. The album includes a hip-hop-heavy song called “Spaghettii” where Beyoncé raps boldly. References to Beyoncé’s previous album “Renaissance” are also found in the new album. The track “Ya Ya” contains samples of Nancy Sinatra and The Beach Boys. Beyoncé pays tribute to artists who have influenced her and challenges traditional notions of country music. The album features collaborations with Black country singers/songwriters and embraces a diverse range of musical styles.
