Guardians’ David Fry will not be participating in Friday’s game.
The Cleveland Guardians’ David Fry was not in the lineup for Friday’s game against the Athletics. Fry had a strong start to the 2024 season on Opening Day as the designated hitter, finishing 3-for-4 with a double, two runs, and an RBI. However, with the Athletics starting right-hander Ross Stripling, the Guardians opted to start lefty Estevan Florial at DH and bat him eighth in the lineup.
