Josh Naylor of the Guardians has made a strong start and is continuing to play well.
In a game against the Athletics, Naylor went 2-for-4 with a run batted in, driving in Jose Ramirez in the eighth inning to tie the game. This marked his first RBI of the 2024 season. Naylor is currently batting .417 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored in three appearances. He has only struck out once.
Naylor is expected to be part of the Guardians lineup again on Monday against righty Emerson Hancock, who is listed as the Mariners’ expected starter. Naylor has been performing well at the plate, and his consistent productivity may continue in the upcoming game.
