The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will cover the mortgage for the wife and son of a fallen officer.
Officer Jonathan Diller, 31, was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens. The suspect, Guy Rivera, was shot by Diller’s partner and taken to a hospital. Diller had been with the department for three years and leaves behind a wife and 1-year-old son. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced they will pay off the mortgage on Diller’s home. Fundraising efforts, including a GoFundMe, have raised over $600,000 for Diller’s family.
