Twitch has introduced a new rule banning streams that focus on intimate body parts for an extended period of time, specifically targeting butt streams.
Twitch has updated its rules to ban content focusing on intimate body parts for a prolonged period of time, specifically targeting the trend of streaming games on butts. The site has struggled with defining what is considered sexual content in the past, leading to creative attempts to bypass rules. Twitch previously allowed streamers to wear swimsuits only in swimming-related settings, which prompted the addition of an official “Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches” category. The new rule aims to address emergent behaviors and ensure a welcoming environment on the platform. Butt streaming pioneer Morgpie is streamlining with a camera positioned under a transparent chair in response to the changes.
