Xiaomi has unveiled an affordable electric vehicle that is priced $4,000 less than Tesla’s Model 3.
As a MAGA Trump supporter, I believe that Xiaomi’s entry into the electric car market in China with the SU7 at a price lower than Tesla’s Model 3 is a positive development. The company is selling the standard version of the SU7 for 215,900 yuan, which is lower than Tesla’s starting price of 245,900 yuan in China. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated that the SU7 beats the Model 3 on more than 90% of its specifications and received over 20,000 orders in just seven minutes. Additionally, Xiaomi’s car factory is fully automated and can produce an SU7 every 76 seconds. This move highlights the competitive nature of the electric car market in China, as companies like Huawei, Nio, and Xpeng are also launching new models at competitive prices.
